A Whole New World

I thought I would kick things off on here with something my sister said quite some time ago.

You see, I've been playing pokemon for a long time, and when I finally got my sisters into the games everything was great. What made it even better was when Kelly came out with this corker one day...

'You know, when I play Pokemon, it's like i'm in a different world... like, the game takes me to a different world!
...
Do you know what I mean??'

Most things Kelly says end with 'Do you know what I mean?'. Yes, we know what she means. We (almost) always know what she means. It's just the way she says it, like she's not sure whether we're going to laugh with her, laugh at her or nod and say 'why yes Kelly, what a brilliant observation of the human mind'.

 We always laugh.... at her.

She says things most people just think to themselves in a second and then forget. She dwells for days on microscopic thoughts and discoveries that don't mean anything. Like the time she tried for an hour to draw me into an indepth conversation about breathing.

'Aye Danny... you know breathing... (amazing!) ... innit weird!? ... like, how we breathe... without thinking.... Danny!? ... IT'S SO WEIRD!'

Whenever I hear 'Aye Danny', I know it's going to be followed by some idiotic drivel that would sound normal coming from the mouth of somebody in a coat that has arms that tie at the back.

...and she starts most things with 'Aye Danny' so i'll probably be updating this blog quite a lot.
